I am a Computer Vision Scientist/Engineer, passionate about creating impactful AI-enabled applications using images and videos. Currently, I am working in the development of segmentation and detection algorithms for endoscopy at Odin Vision/Olympus. My PhD research at Durham University, supervised by Prof. Toby Breckon and Dr. Noura Al Moubayed, focused racial bias within face recognition. I developed generative models for creating controllable and realistic facial images to mitigate bias in face recognition. My backround in computer vision spans a wide range of applications—from broad areas like 3D action recognition during my master's studies, to specific challenges such as caecum landmarks detection at Odin Vision and snack and drink detection at Prohotech in customized settings.

In my free time, I enjoy activities like badminton 🏸, hiking 🥾, cycling 🚲, and photography 📸.
